As you know I love to gather and hear tales and stories from all over Faerun and know that some of you have seen and done some amazing things on your journeys so should you feel lonely on your watch and have the compulsion to tell Gimbaldi a tale from your past, I am all ears and opinion.

Hey Gimbaldi i want to tell you about how i ended up here...
When i was a young boy in an ordinary run of the mill farming village it came under attack from horrible monsters i had never seen before, when the attack happened i ran and hid to stay safe, from my hiding space i saw the attack on my village but was frozen from fear, just towards the end of the attack one of the monsters spotted me hiding and started heading towards me, but out of no where came a man jumping and spinning swinging his longswords with such ease and precision it was a joy to behold, after he defeated the attacking monsters he came and made sure i was ok, safe to say i was the only survivor so he took me under his wing and started teaching me the ways of the dancing darvish.
I aim to one day hold my own school where i can also pass on this knowledge and do him proud, maybe have him teach at the school when he decides to stop adventuring.

I have heard of the Dancing Dervish, a way of fighting with two blades that uses dance to move about the battlefield passed down through the nomadic tribes of the Sword Coast. I have never seen one until I met you. Who was your master?

Tearing a chunk of bread from a loaf and passing it on Azral listens intently while munching his bread.

He always said for me to call him Elogan but always changed the subject when i asked for his family name, i got the impression Elogan probably wasn't his true name either but the man saved ny life and raised me well so i didn't push the matter further, come to think about it he was actually pretty private and always worried going into large places?..........

Hey Gimbaldi you know the fella that tried to kill you when we were returning to athcatla. The thief that seemed to just disappear right in front of us what do you know of him or what he was because when he spoke before me and kat double teamed him he said he was simalar to me and that his skills were better. He didn't take me as a threat at all. how did he do what he did?

Taron, your mentor would seem to be an honourable man, it is always nice to hear of those protecting the weak and innocent. Your fighting skills certainly do him credit

Kal - I know little of The Shadow Theives, much of what is "known" is based on rumour and conjecture. One of those rumours is that they are allied with dark powers from the plane of shadow and gifted with the ability to "step into the darkness". It is strange as I have also heard of a form of dance that can also grant this ability, something that would appeal to both yourself and Taron perhaps but I would urge to be careful of what forces you dabble with. I am unsure as to why The Shadow Thieves would want to kill me, perhaps Kurwood set me up though it seems they got to him also. Taron - I heard stories of a great swordsman called Elogan of Bezantir, but he was evil to the core and murdered and stole his way across Faerun but this was around three hundred years ago and he was tracked down and slain by bounty hunters.

Thanks Gimbaldi, I know most people have issues with my heritage but I wish to stay away from the powers of darkness but at the same time the shadows have always felt like my friend. Maybe there are those out there that the shadows are an ally but not a master or dark side. However I don't even know how to look into this as you say the rumours are not good

"Hmm, the way I see it bending the shadows to your will isn't evil in its nature. Where there's light there is always shadow. Even in the underdark. The way you use that power is more important. "
Taking his pipe from its pouch, packing it and lighting the carved eagle pipe. Azral puffs on it a few times before carrying on.
"Your should be careful where you learn the basics of this power though as there will be those that will manipulate you for teaching you"

Azral heartily slaps Kal on the shoulder while laughing in a deep gruff voice.
"No worries there lass, if you ever start to fall inyo the shadow I'll be sure to pull you back"

Learning such abilities and the drive to improve is a good thing Kal, the test of your heart is as Azral said ow you use them. Your friends are around you to help guide when needed and to pull you back into the fire when your steps weaken. We all have moments of doubt, I often wonder if my Father would approve of my actions but 2nd guessing yourself can lead to weakness.

Gimbaldi, the first time I flew on my fathers back seemed like the biggest adventure ever.
Stepping lightly onto his back and nestling between his broad shoulders I looked around with anticipation as I felt the power and muscles grow tight. With an almighty leap he left the cliff outside our lair, pushing his great wings down we soared high into the peaks of the Airie. I felt no fear as his presence always brought calm and serenity to me, the thrill of soaring faster and faster through the clouds as the mountain sped past was a sight to behold. The pure bliss of dragon flight is something so hard for me to explain, the feelings of freedom and excitement intermingling as the world below becomes smaller and smaller.
From an outside view I can imagine how strange I must have looked, this small 5 year old girl no more than a speck on his mighty back. But flying with opsola always made me smile.

Thank's Kat I know we don't always see eye to eye and my nature is one of extremes. I can feel the shadows clinging to me, bleeding into our plane this calls to my blood and I am struggling to keep the tide of darkness back.
