*With a smile still, but determined look in her eyes Kat runs up at the incline*
Balance check = 12 Fail (takes 14 NL - Total 20 NL) as she runs up and loses her footing tumbling back down the steps banging her head into the floor as she lands on it.
Straightening herself up she shakes it off swearing again and moves back to take a full run at it again
Balance check = 12 Fail (14 NL - Total = 34) swearing as she bounces back down the steps once more, this time twisting her foot the wrong way as her ankle gives out on her.
Coming to a halt at bottom once more she limps to her feet at tries once more, this time limping at half speed to attempt the top of this mighty summit
Balance check (-4 for ankle and -4 for drink) = 14 Pass
She finally makes the top and lets of gout of dragon fire in triumph for completing this mighty climb.
Spotting her friend she limps over to him
"I concede *laughs with a slight grimace*, I have been beaten by the mighty Blade. *growls* now where's the brandy"

*Olathgolst pulls kat to her feet and hugs her, out of breath he struggles to speak*
"now kat its no shame, I've spend my whole life on the move... in the arena if you stop moving you die my friend. Now look what i found on one of those cards. Prodoces a bottle of brandy"
*passing the new bottle to kat, he drinks deep from the bottle he has somehow kept hold of through the race and launches it into the air, draws his bow and fires an arrow -ATTACK -4 booze 31 and damage 10*
"Now lets catch our breath...."
*sitting down and packing another pipe*
"Right, you have been in my arena, lets try yours. Seeing that your thing is a bow and i have a bow what mighty challenge do you dare put before" *shouting* "OLATHGOLST THE MIGHTY BLADE OF ATHKATLA"
*drinks some more brandy and hiccups*

*Trying to catch her breath she takes the bottle, rips the top off and takes a deep drink*
"The arena taught you well *she says between breaths and returns his embrace*, so you want to test your skills with the bow against mine *laughs*. You have been in the arena and trained hard. But I have trained with a bow since I was a child *laughs deeply and claps him on the back before taking another swig*.
Ok we need some height so the battlements it is, but before we get there you can try your hand at one of the first training exercises I was put through by Polina!
I shall go first, find me if you can *laughs and runs of into the crowd as she calls back* You have 10 minutes!"
*Breaking line of sight she slows and ducks to the alleyways - hide check at -4 = 14*

NOTE - since this is for fun a spot will be rolled every minute agaisnt the same DC to see if i get luckyMinute 2 -*Turning on the spot and ducking after the other kat* "I see you...." Spot at -4 again Total - 13*Jumps at a shadow he though to be kat landing one a homeless man* "Terribleey sorzy zir" *Darts off in search of kat* |

"Climbing onto a cart with a hope of a better vantage olathgolst focuses his double vision onto the two buildings nearby"
Spot with more -4 goodness Total - 19
*His vision focuses into one and he runs and climbs to where kat is (climb of 29 is it matters lol) and says
"dont think Polina went so easy on you"
*laughing*
"but then again i am olathgolst the aweshume"
*swigs more brandy*

Spot - 10
*stares at a haystack for a full minute*
Minute 2

*smirks at a barrel and looks inside it.... its empty.*
minute 3
Spot - 11
*sits on the barrel in deep thought*
minutes 4
spot - 3
*stumbles up and ally and throws up*
Minute 5
spot - 0
*realises he has walked around the same card 6 times and she still isnt here*
minute 6
spot - 15
*lunges at a shadow, trips over and forward rolls onto his feet and burps very loadly*
Minutes 7
spot 2
*Returns to for mentioned barrel and throws up a little more*
minute 8
spot 3
*climbs onto a roof, forgets why he just did it and climbs down again. spends no time actually looking for kat*
minute 9
Spot - 16
Desperate as time runs out he throws a brandy bottle with a little bit left into a random shadow
Cha check as luck - 11
Hopes that kat will reveal herself
as time runs near to out his last normal spot check 16
only hope is if kat takes the bait....
