I've never heard killers talk about murder using fancy words that belong in some sage's tower! There's no art to it, no matter how you dress it, it's all about being quicker and stronger than the other bloke and getting your steel in his guts before he does it to you! Natsu, the warrior's path is usually not one chosen by the fella walking it, some just get lost on their way somewhere else and end up wrapped in armour and swinging sharp bits of metal at each other without a fucking clue how they got there.

In most cases those that embrace the path and seek the enlightenment of the warrior surpass those around them in skill and ability, not always tho I grant you. In shou I met a man so dedicated to the art of perfecting a palm strike, that everyday for 10 years he rose and completed 1000 strikes, as the years rolled he became quicker and quicker. He could set a vibration off in your chest with a single strike that could make your teeth fall out.

I understood about half of that. I can knock your teeth out with a big mace and I don't need to get out of bed every morning and swing it a thousand times either! You know me mate, ain't nothing magical about killing. You just know more ways of doing it than me.

So you better understand yourself by perfecting killing? In that case I'm already ahead of you then! I swing my sword, enemy dies, that's about as "perfect" as I need it!

Im not sure about enlightenment but my path is that of revenge today but i still hope i can truely free my homeland from what it faces.

To me my homeland was the great plains of the north, roaming the grasslands and living of the land. As i say the Nar occupy some of the cities but are really undead under the control of a crown wraith and i have via a scrying of sorts promised to kill the thing.
This revenge is the safer thing on my list

This does sound a mighty quest and a worthy one, but why travel south instead of back to Nar? Just revenge or is there more to the story?
