And yes I would trade it all for the freedom.

Then we shall put all our resources into finding her for you, I know how important family is. *looks sad for a moment* I cannot understand how your father did what he did, no wonder you hold such resentment for him.

Did you know him before he died? Get to ask him why he did what he did? I never knew my daddy, Amcimir goes quiet whenever I mention him and I can sense that Tzegar isn't telling me the whole story.

I have been told that he was a noble silver. My mother died at the claws of a red shortly after I hatched. I had two clutchlings; both brothers. I haven't seen them since the day they left with my father when he flew away to be with my mother's clan somewhere on the Moonshae Islands. I was given the choice but there were other plans for me; I would become Amcimir's apprentice. I disappointed everyone when I failed to master magic the way Ancimir has, I was more at home in the wilds and he could never find me when I was hiding from him after bunking off from his lessons. Luckilly they both saw that I was a lsot cause and decided to let me nurture my skills of stealth and wildcraft. Anyway, I asked once if I could go find my family but was forbidden. I... But I... I went anyway. I was Petulant and impatient, I betrayed Amcimir and Tzegar and left the Aerie on a selfish mission. I found my father's clanlands but the lairs were abandoned, ruined, the sign of a great battle scarred the mountain where I found my father's home. There were many dead silvers, their scorched bones littering the mountainside. There was no sign of my father, any one of them could have been my brothers, though I hope not. Whilst here, I ran afoul of some reds, over a dozen! But luckily Amcimir came to my rescue, he was nearly killed too but slew nine or ten of them and drove the remainder away. He saved me from certain death but he was terribly wounded... Tzegar was furious, I had nearly got Amcimir killed but Amcimir, as badly wounded as he was, persuaded him to forgive me.

I cannot see fault in wanting to go there, it is natural you would want to go and find some answers. I know I would want to know the truth, after all I intend to go find my mother, even if only to see her from the shadows. It is unfortunate you were attacked but hardly your fault, Amcimir choose to follow you and i'm sure he would have been prepared to face what ever was there as his own decision. *squeezes her hand* I know my father can have a temper, but surely he must have understood why you wanted answers.
*smiles but with sorrow still in her eyes* I for one am glad you were no mage, or who else would have had the patience to teach me wild craft

I don't know. Sometimes the truth can be painful. I found ruins and dead dragons and no sign of my family. Beleive me, Amcimir did not follow me, I know how to stay hidden from him and his spells. He just... knew I would be there. I get the feeling he had been there before, and Tzegar. "Temper?" Your father can be very angry indeed, I know it is something he struggles with... I think that's why he was so eager to come to the Aerie and live in solitude... I don't think he wants me here sometimes. I've said too much...

He was always so careful to conceal his temper from me, but now that you mention it I do remember odd occasions when I saw his wrath when he did not know I was there. Maybe I remind him of his own struggle for peace, perhaps that is why he wanted me to stay on the Aerie, he knows that in the temple we can reflect and stay free from sources that boil our blood to quote a human saying. If they had been there why would they hide so much? something of great significance must have occurred, maybe with you family! If you want I can start to try and find information on yours brothers if you wish my friend, I will be discreet of course. It does sound like Amcimir to push for forgiveness, we have had conversations about such on occasion. I would not be so harsh on yourself my dear friend, I'm sure my father does not want you gone from their. He trusted you to teach and help raise me, *smiles and kisses her on the check*. We can keep this conversation between the few of here, so do not worry. If I can aid you in anyway my skills are yours, you are my oldest and dearest friend.
