*Olathgolst carries more wood to the fire, despite the fact there is plenty and throws another log onto the fire, sits near the warmth of the fire and looks up to his fondly at he new friends and suddenly breaks to silence*
I'm sorry if I have been distance in the last few days, I was born in Athkatla and there I was lost into to the slave trade that was the pit, I do not remember it fondly and I was hoping you might be able to help me on a personal matter.

Olathgost, both Kat and myself have lost part of ourselves to the wickedness of that place, I have lost friends and people I used to work with and lost a part of me that I carry the scars of heart, soul and mind.

We'll amongst the things that bother me about that place, my siters was sold away from me when i was very young and i dont know where she is or ended up. I would love to be able to find her again but i didnt think id ever be in a position to even try to find her in the first place or even do it on my own....

Ah, the pits of Athkatla. I would think carefully before meddling with such nasty business. The Shadow Thieves and The Thayans are both known to be the roots of that particularly unsavory tree.

*coughs* "Ahh maybe I should of mentioned this before, but when I last went to Athkatla to get supplies for our journey I may have stepped into help a few people on the docks. I kind of removed the head of the beggars guild and and a number of his friends, they were associated with some fake shadow thieves I'm pretty sure. He was being rather unpleasant to people, removing eyes, limbs or scarring people so they were more effective at begging! I saw justice served, but it may add to the list of complications we already have in that cess pit!. *looks embarrassed* I am sorry if this causes more probles"

It is common for these "beggar kings" to maim even children for a blind crippled little girl will they fetch more coin than a normal little girl.
