Virani frowned as Kalon listed the troubles that they had become embroiled in. A Demon out to kill Katalina, a dark cult serving an evil goddess who would soon be after Kalitech and as for herself...she knew without doubt that her homecoming would be trouble indeed.

Very true, we do have each other and the other friends we meet on the road. Don't forget tho I also have an elder black dragon after my blood along with a dragon war to fight.

Virani chuckled dryly at the mention of the evil Dragon that was also wanting to kill Kat. If it were a competition for who had the most enemies then the half Dragon would most certainly win. But that wasn't really surprising given how hard her friend fought for the forces of good and to see justice done.
She raised her own mug and nodded in agreement with Kalons words.

We do so seem to find trouble, The shroud will be a dangerous foe. There will be those who's skill surpass mine with the regards to shadows and I know of at least one other how to has a shade companion. the shadows will be very dangerous. I advise infiltration rather than brute force sneaking our way into and keeping the noise from any fights to a minimum. quick and clinical kills if need be.

Virani scowled at Kal, she knew it made sense but that didn't mean she had to like it. Skulking around was not something she had spent much time practicing.

I don't think that sneaking about like cowards is the right approach in house of shadows. We should be a beacon of light in a dark place. All that matters is we have the element of surprise for one ambush.
