The dragonlich hag lay dead at their feet, her phylactery smashed and her soul condemned to an eternity in the keeping of her dark dragon god.
As they reflected on the hard fought battle, the marsh waters were receeding, draining away to leave fertile soil in which the locals could grow their new futures. The fog was lifting and the first rays of sunlight, even with the Stormhorn's black clouds and thunder to the North, coloured the new ground with its warm fingers that poked through the scattering clouds.

I hope this has finally left you free my friend, *looks to Lyris limp body in Wrens lap with a sadness in her eyes* he fought bravely and has earned some respect from me facing up to such an enemy as have you Wren. I am pleased another enemy of Bahmut and the Metalics has been vanquished, thank you all for your help. I hope we can find a friendly soul to help us give Lyri another chance in this world *sighs again*"

Wren looked up, from where she was carefully wrapping Lyri's remains in cloth, she watched Katalina wordlessly for a moment before nodding.
"No thanks are necessary, that thing was a blight that needed to be dealt with and I am glad I could be of some help in that."
She looked down at Lyri's remains again and carefully put the cloth wrapped bundle in her bag before she stood and spoke again addressing everyone including Seraphina.
"He fought and died well, there is much honour in that. I hope there is a way of bringing him back, as you say, but if not at least he died destroying evil and saving your home Kalitec. That it a worthy end for anyone."

Kal looks to Black fen as they leave, Such a loss of life hopefully they can rebuild. If not then a new home in Steelbridge can be arranged.
You may wonder why I have chosen forgivness, well the answer is quite simple. I'm tired of just taking lives sometimes I just need to even the score some times.

Halcion Looks at the body and examines the wound. His face passive, slowly shakes his head. Warring feelings inside, he does not understand the anger and violence from Kat at someone who has lost their memory. He understands part of her words and if this is a present from Tiamat for dealing with the old men in the church then he has done something bad in the past. noticing that Simani and Kat have disappeared. He calls out to them just as a Comet screams over head.
