So Kalon what is our plan from here, it is clear that the battle for Impulture cannot be won through strength of arms alone. The only way I see things is that to give your people a chance is to strike for the root and head. That means facing Sinelion head on and sending her back to whatever hell she comes from. However as I understand it she can possess anything she wants as a deamon of possession it will be unlikely to be a battle of steel. Then deal with the great kardi. I think we will need to find out what is happening to the halls of tempus. There must be a direct link, I can only think those dead gates that have been mentioned must have some import to what is happening.

Kalon it appears that you're goal to free your people and my wish to help and nyridiors goal are the same I will help in any way I can. I will make this vow if there is a way we will find it. Even if it means my death I will not stop until our purpose is fulfilled May Torm, nyridior and those here present witness this vow. Your people will one day be free of enslavement.

I almost respect the idea that you knights and paladins have to die for save the innocent, but what if bye dying just leaves them to die anyway. You see this war or whatever if won might free everyone but all we've learnt is another more horrible war is coming. Hardly seems worth saving anything when they will just suffer anyway and even more so."

Yeah your right. I've been thinking about choices and consequences more recently. When we were dealing with white dragon and liri chose to attack after it had been released. I was given a choice by the gods either act in the interests of bahamut, choose no action or choose duty. I believe that lyri would now be dead if I choose either bahamut or no action. Although I do not agree with what you did lyri I choose duty to protect you my companion. Thus it appears that Torm has taken me back. In doing so I have lost those abilities that bahamut granted me but in doing so have been raised higher with Torm.

But with the histories I have been told and now finding out there is another reason behind the dragon war, even greater enemies behind thit and them... where does it end? freeing impulter is what we can focus on for now, the here and now and those suffering in front of us. But WHEN we succeed, what of the people then. The invasion may be stopped, but that does not feed or cloth them...or bring healing to those that need it. Look at the city on the coast, the pain and suffering we saw there. I hoped that by crossing the border we may be able to gain some support and help from my homeland, but from what has been said recently they are still far from recovered from the war with the lich king! Can they supply troops, food and some basic aid?  ? It almost feels hopeless, a war within a war within a war within *stares off for a moment at the snow falling around*" |

Halcion looks up at both Kat and Kalon, and rises from his meditation. Yes things look insurmountable but we must have faith. Without it we cannot hope to win. People look to heroes to show them the way. They need us now more than ever, when things look bleakest we need to become beacons in the darkness. In time people will sing you're praises. They will be able to tell their children they were there when a brave few stood against the darkness and refused to bow low. You will inspire others to acts of bravery. And courage but we must hold the light and nurture it help it become from a seed to something that the gods take note of. If we hold our course others will answer the call. We have to believe in this.

Kat you're more than just a huntress you are a daughter of bahamut never forget that. You say you are a killer a murder I find that hard to believe. You are one of the most courageous people I know. If you look for forgiveness then you can admit your sins and ask for forgiveness then I ask you to pray with me let your heart be purified. I am no cleric but If you seek to atone for some error then I will do what I can. We all error at somethime or another. It's how you face these mistakes that truly shows you who you are.

Kalon, you wear the marks of the gods, yet you almost sound as if you despise them. Yes wars are fought hatred is breed and life is taken or worse because of people's faith in what they believe. But not all evil is done is the gods name. Punishment should be given when a wrong has been proven. I'm no executioner of the gods will but I do fight for torm. It is after all what my calling is about. However if my enemy asks for quarter or surrenders then ask yourself in by killing that person do I become the same that which I fight against.
