The Flesh of The Blasphemous +1 profane longsword
"Flesh of The Blasphemous" is a jagged and irregular blade with a slight curve. The steel is dull and non reflective inlaid with angrily stamped Abyssal blasphemous curses along the entire blade. The weapon gives off an aura of great evil, loss and pain.
Originally this blade was a holy blade known as "Silver Light” and was crafted in 755DR for the pious knight of Helm Tavan The Golden. He took the weapon on many forays into the abyss and nine hells where the blade did away with countless demons and devils until one such quest (circa 767DR) when Tavan was apparently lost when facing a particularly powerful Pit Fiend servant of Jergal he had been tracking for years known as Mamemest the Blasphemer. During the battle, Tavan manged to impale Mamemest in the heart with Silver Light with his dying strength. The blade skewered the demon’s heart and after the battle Mamemest tried to remove the blade but realized that if he pulled it free, he would die.
The demon remained that way for a century, the blade lodged in place and keeping him alive and in great endless pain but eventually the demon’s blood corrupted the sword and twisted it into a profane blade, the steel blackened and scorched, runes appeared and the holy magic was corrupted into a profane effect.
Around 1270DR the Helmite Jarthon killed his lover Soshyn in a fit of jealousy. As she called out to dark powers for revenge, Mamemest answered it by turning her into a vampire. As she was transformed, she pulled the sword from Mamemest’s chest and he was destroyed.

Price: +1 bonus
Property: Weapon
Caster Level: 7th
