My strengths and my weaknesses are one and the same. I am able to change my body with a moments notice and this is a strength however, because I can change I sometimes carry the emotions of the animal with me. When I feel cornered I carry that raw emotion with me, which is obviously a weakness, especially if you are an envoy, also what you have to need to realise is that Druids don't entertain and most of the Druids and gruff with hardly sort of interpersonal skills of other races. There is a rank in the circle for the best diplomatic types and this rank is called a Speaker and our job is to be diplomatic negotiators. Most of the other Druids just don't really care about others and would have ripped the head off of that lord fool. I didn't but I agree that I could have maybe handled the situation a little better.
I will send word to Arkadeus about the incident so he can tell the other Druids and rangers to be alert that trouble might be coming. As far as my future goes I hope to become an Elder and join with the other elders in the Oak. I like the idea of travelling with others and I hope to go to places that are different from the forest.

I for one don't understand nor like the druids I have met so far. All of them have been full of self importance and up their own arses.
If an so called Speaker or envoy of the druids condoned an act that the Queen of this land deemed horrendous. She would demand the druid circle acted! If they then didn't that would not bode well for the druids or the Weldeth.
Its the same as I have only just realised. As one of the few dwarfs that have left the Omlarran Mountains, my actions reflect on my people and king. I hate it and don't agree with the bollox myself but that's politcs for ya..

Druids, that I have encountered anyway, are as you say Master Azral full of self importance. They only think about the forest. There are some Druids that are not that way inclined and these are the Druids that are usually Envoys or people that go to nearby villages to offer aid to the poor. Druids from the Wealdath are not necessarily bad they've just lived in the forest for so long that they very rarely go out of the forest, so when it comes to greeting outsiders they are brisk and straight talking.
My adoptive father has trained me well to be a representative of the Wealdath but he fears the power I hold, the Wylding power used to change in to beasts. He fears that one day i will not change back and that I will cause harm to others. I am hot headed at times and ferocious when the Wealdath requires me to be. I am a staunch defender of my home and a protector to those who in the Wealdath.

I was worried that because of my actions the Druids might be in danger. I'm going to use my diplomacy to really flesh out Amalthis because I can really her doing just this, out of love for her adopted father and for the 4th circle. I really see Amalthis fighting her emotions. She likes changing for the pure fact that she feels at home in animal form.
Animals do not lie and they are protective, especially in the case of Wolves. Humans lie, cheat, murder, gamble with peoples lives, greedy. Although Amalthis is a Human, she is also a Druid, first and foremost.
When compared Amalthis has decided to work with animals and it gives her great clarity when she in the forest, just her and ghost and the spirits of the Wealdath.
Thank you Azral and Kat, it means a lot to me hear that I have friends around me and I will do the same for both of you.

I suggest we all act quickly to resolve this issue here, as a note we are all representing the druid circle as they were the ones that requested we look into this. If we cannot correct the errors and deal with the evil that is here, then the destruction and or deaths of those in the Wealdath will be on our heads. I for one have enough on my conscious with the suffering of innocents. Amalthis as a diplomat I suggest once we have dealt with the Lord and the corruption, you speak to those in a higher power, the mayor possibly or any representatives of the Queen herself we find. With the skills you have maybe you can persuade them that the Circles actions have served Tethyr and the Queen.

I have already let Arkaus no of the situation. I will try to remedy the issue here. It is important Kat that we find out what is going on here, I completely agree. Where should we start though, we have little information to go on. I will speak to some of the guards to see if I can discern any information that we could act on.

Where is the fire man?. Does he not travel with us anymore. I have noticed that he has been quiet the last few days and now he doesn't even bed down with us. Maybe he has completed his quest for knowledge about other fire men and feels he doesn't need to quest with this party anymore?. I have an aversion to his lack of control over fire. While fire can be used to renew things, if used without proper control, as Lady Katalina does, it can be extremely dangerous. I
I feel better now that he is not here anymore and also better because I have sent a message to Arkadeus to warn him of the situation.
