A slight breeze blows through the camp making the fire crackle and pop, the smell of some kind of stew bubbling away reached Azral's nose. He didn't think it smelled that great but Kat had promised it contained meat so he wasn't to bothered. Finding himself a comfortable looking stone Azral sat down leaning against it. Taking his pipe carefully out of his pack he packed it with the mix of Thayen and Mistol Vale pipe weed. leaning over and taking a glowing stick from the fire he lit his pipe and drew deeply feeling the days tension from travel slowly ease out of him.
*Whoooow, blowing out a big cloud of smoke that seemed to dance and swirl as the breeze caught it. "So, what now hay? We've found Gottenhall. We've found Corin's vault. We're a day from Athkatla with the book and brazier. We've got to deal with Kal'ateks unwanted dirty bag! But what now? How do you lost want to go about things and whats your plans for the near future? I'm sure once we've cashed up all this loot we will all have some coin to as well.."
*Waiting for a few moments as the rest of the party settled down*
"COME ON. Lets be av'in ya. No time to be holding ya tongues"

Well i still have unfinished business with that sage who was checking out my sword, and we did come to blows with that suspected shadow warrior i think you called him? So maybe look into this because they definitely want Kal dead which means we will be attacked soon no doubt, so lets strike the next blow first!!

*Settling by the fire playing with the flames absentmindedly Kat turns to Azral, her half eaten stew by her feet*
My path is still unclear to me, we have much unfinished business in the city still. Once we move on my goals remain the same, I still seek some sign of the "Lord of the North winds" followers, there surely must be some followers of him in this land still. I just hope not all have abandoned him (with a heavy sigh).
I have heard tales of the "wer gavir di ux knights", but where they may be I know not.
Taron is right tho, it sits ill with me leaving enemies plotting behind us!

As kal listens at the edge's of the conversations she is wracked with guilt, this is all her fault.
As the discussions continue

There are two forces arrayed against us at present
"The first is the Thayan Enclave they seek us harm and it is to these Taron that are responsible for your kidnapping. I over heard the guards conversation when they were talking after the arrest of the mage and he will shortly be released next time I intend for him to be dead" As I say this my eyes blaze with the inner darkness and my teeth show through an evil looking smile.
"The second is that Pelas is connected to the shadow thieves of the city some how. whether he is their mouth piece/puppet is still yet to be seen. The thieves are interested and worried in what I want and to most people who look into my soul will see a great well of hatred and loathing, I would quite happily put a blade through his throat. But in doing so may prove to be to dangerous and the repacutions of my actions will harm any and all that have any sort of connection to me."
"There will be time enough for my justice at a later date"
"So please I ask allow me time to decide what is right to do about Pelas as for the Theyans if they want to come after me fine. They have just opened a hornets nest"
At this Kal gets up and moves away from the fire shrouding herself in the shadows.
Those with sharp hearing will hear her crying quietly to herself.

As you may or may not be aware, I feel an affinity for the shadows and wish to seek out ways of using the shadows better to my advantage. However this is something that I don't want to advertise in general as most people already distrust me on sight. This distrust is partly to do with my chosen profession but as I grew up I had little choice but to survive by whatever means were available and to hand. So if that meant stealing some food from a bakery or market seller, then so be it. Some of you may feel this is wrong but you do what ever you can to survive.

You may be a Tethling but your our teftling! And as long as you don't turn into the darkness. We will always have your back.. it doesn't matter if we agree with you or not."

"Glad to here it lass. Well I don't know about you lot but I intend of doing my people proud. My home is under the Tethyr soil. Theres the ruins we wish to clear out, the Weldeath, lost dwarven artifacts, genies, red wizards and a bunch of thiefs all roled into are future. What say you?"

I really am curious about what that Kosoth follower mean, when I confronted her she was waffling on about what if Kal was the one to pierce the shadows or lift the veil? Very strange as she seemed under orders to kill us but very hesitatant when it came to you Kalatek |

I best tell you what I know regarding My father as he possibly has some part to play in recent events. Kat when you spoke of the mutterings from the Fire witch you mentioned Crimson something or other and that he wanted me. Well my father from what information I have gained in the past, One of his names or alias's is Crimson Shadow. What I know physically is not much however the colouring of my hair and eyes even the wired tattoos or animal like hair that cover parts of me are inherited that much is definite. He too has a natural affinity for shadows.
One of his more subtle abilities seems to be charm women. He appeared as a young adult of similar age to my mother. strange I know but my mother succumbed to his charm before he raped her. What he is exactly is unknown rumours say he is a lesser deamon, half deamon or even another tiefling but one who has embraced his bloodline. As you will be aware this a battle that I have to fight everyday. When stressed my blood boils as the demonic heritage tries to break the bonds and chains I have tried to instill. When we meet him I don't know what will happen, I will try to fight him however if I fail you must be prepared to take me down I would rather die that cause the death of one of you my friends and family.

(Bardic Knowledge check 25!) He sounds like an Incubus; the male version of the succubus who's only purpose is to seduce and corrupt then feed upon good men. However, your father is likely to be a cambion or half demon as these are usually the sire of a tiefling. If his own father or mother was a succubus or incubus, then this would possibly explain his chosen method of spreading evil.
