"No worries lass. If it comes to it and we can't stop you from crossing into the realms of depravity! Then you can be sure that my axe will strike true"
*Azrals hand drops to his new dwaven waraxe axe and an expression of sense and purpose seems to settle on his face*

Wait a moment... You would be so quick as to kill her without reason for pause!? Have we lost our minds? I can't believe we are even talking about this! *turns to Kalatec* I have faith in you! Your desire to do good far outweighs any blood that might be calling to you! No matter how thick and insidious! *You get the feeling he is looking for some kind of reassurance, the very thought of killing Ka; chills him to the bone*

*With a deep booming laugh Azral chokes on his pipe*
"Ha ha ha, (cough cough) You miss understand me my boy! I would only kill Kal as a last resort, I could strike her in many ways to change the outcome. Plus with the blessings granted to me by Dumathoin and the Morridinsamman I would bring her to bear long before that. All I ment was that if they was no other choice. No other way forward, then I would honour her request and end it"

I know that your intentions are true and that your crafts powerful but let us hope to Tymora and all of the gods; Dwarven, Human, and any other races' deities that wish to pave our way with good fortunes, that this is not Kal's destiny!

*This takes place the night after Kal's father (Crimson Shadow) and her grandfather the Incubus have been slain*
Azral passes Katalena the waterskin as she walks from the Dwarven cottage that he had created hours before in the courtyard of Drake's Peak castle. Putting the taper to his pipe as he spoke.
"Lass, don't threat about the events of today.. I know you were under the whim of Kal's grand-papy."
Taking a deep pull on his pipe and blowing smoke rings that seemed to play together briefly before being caught on the wind.
"Back down in that dining room under the castle after we had felled the Campion. I could sense something watching. It was then I remembered the seers gift and using the ointment I called upon yhe power of the Moridinssamman to grant myself True Seeing, piecing the veil to the Etherel plane I saw the Incubus sitting in the throne watching us. He moved over to Kal and was mockingly caressing her from that plane. He soon changed his mind when he noticed my waraxe through the dwarven gods gifts also existed on the Etherel plane to. That was when I ran from the room and our game of cat and mouse started. Thank you for following me to aid me. I knew the momwbt you turned on me that he had effected you somehow but I couldn't give up and I couldn't afford the time to deal with you tryin to kill me.
I'm lucky that the Moridinsamman saw fit to protect me from your aim while I chased down that rotting bastard and put an end to his existence"

I fear that Artero would have escaped if you hadn't dealt with him when you did. I also believe that your actions saved the town by ending whatever foul ceremony he was planning. When Kal is of a better mind, it will be important to investigate what Do'Argal meant by her "real mother". *Gimbaldi looks over to where Kal stares into the flames of the fire, her mind far from here*

Thank you for standing by my side, A great weight has been lifted from my shoulders only for another to take it's place. If my mother was not my mother who or what was she. I'm also sorry you had to see what I did, but I promised myself that ever the moment came and I could kill my farther I would remove both his foul heart and head. I did not want him being raised by anyone else. Now I can clean the darkness from myself.
She continues to stare into the flames, holding herself and gently shakes, tears trickle down her cheeks.

She takes the offered cup and takes a heavy gulp from it, before handing back the cup and embracing Gimbaldi

"Lass, were all in this together. At least you know she's human as your father was a Cambion so she had to be human or you wouldn't of been what you are"

Perhaps we should find your old home? Before you fled? Do'Argal said that the woman you thought was your mother is not, perhaps the villagers would know more and should you return to them now with your new friends and skills, less likely to try and run you out of town again, the bastards would learn a quick lesson in hospitality!

"Ay lad, well said. I'm sure we could get them to loosen their tongues. Failing that the blessings of the Mordinsamman can help us out there"
