I knew somebody would ask at some point. Azral is clearly more perceptive than I had given him credit for.
Azral you are very clever. I feel that you are a honourable person and somebody that I can begin to trust. I am n0 wizard, I am in fact a Warlock. The reason I have kept this information between me and my upset companion Taren is because if I was to walk into a town and they knew I was a Netherese Warlock, I would not be welcome and more to the point I probably would be hunted down and killled. I have found that keeping my secrets has kept me alive and I won't apologise for that, I just hope that you can understand my reasons.
Taren, you are very easy to annoy due to your nature but you no that I do not mean the jibes as truth and I have seen your skills with your weapons. I trust you most and that says a lot for me as a person.
Kal, if you are now a follower of Shar, then I have no issue with that, as those within the Netherese Culture worshipped Shar as part as our pantheon of gods. I myself am a devout and pious follower of Mystral, so while I don't trust Shar's motives as long as they don't harm or directly hinder Mystrals teachings then I will make my own decision on your character. However from what I saw when we fought the Minataur you stepped out of the shadows to protect Azral, so while your past and future may be dark I feel that your intentions are good, just a little unconventional.
So now you know what I am. Am I still welcome in your group or do you wish me to leave?. There will be no hard feelings and I will wish you the best in your futures.

Kal's faith is her business, we should not question the god's will. Besides, God of revenge and retribution is Hoar and the god of Justice is Tyr or perhaps The Triad. Revenge, retribution and justice are three fine things so worry not. If she is a servant of evil, I know you woujld not tolerate it and nor would my men and I.
Shar is an insidious dark goddess of loss and if there was a Sharran amongst us I would take my men and leave.
Warlocks are not to be trusted so I will not turn my back on you Tazinthe but I would urge you to keep it from the other men, Belvast in particular.

Just what are your capabilities? I mean I have seen you use an arcane wand and I've seen you blast things with that arcane thing of yours, to differing effects I may add..

Just so you know, the Gold Fist mercenaries were not going to do business with you, none of the men wanted to go with oyu because of Kalatec and Katalina being in your number.
They had heard rumours and stories and thought you to be a band of demons and worshipers of dark powers. It was I who persuaded the men who now serve with you to accept your coin and pointed out that no priest of the Mordinssamman would knowingly consort with evil. I also told them that Gold dragons are usually good creatures. Still, many turned their back on the offer and I lost friends because of my gut feeling about you.

Yes we keep secrets, I am a Teifling breed through the my father raping a Human I strive to deny the heritage I have but it is part of me. I do not know this shar who you refer to Azral the god i serve is not evil and I will say no more. If my actions have given you reason to fear me then I am sorry.

Azral wipes the last tear from his eyes after bursting out laughing, falling from the log and nearly falling into the fire.

I was there helping to overcome the curses that followed you and your siblings. I was the one that hunted and killed your grand-father after you entered your torpor after you slew your father, even while he had charmed Kats mind to kill me. I was there while you questioned your existence and your heritage. I was one of those that helped you from falling down the dark path and I do not mean shadows either. I was also there when your blood grew stronger and you manifested those few gifts because of your heritage. Also do not forget that it was me who told you of the existence of those that dance in the shadows...
And as for not knowing Shar, The Mistress of the Night! A goddess worshipped by some rogues, shadow-weave users, shadowdancers and a few other creatures with evil in their hearts. Shar who wars with Mystra for control over the weave of all magic. I doubt that very much...
Anyway, as I believe it, wasn't it thanks to Kat and yourself for rushing my body to the temple in Zazzaspur, to the cleric of Ilmatur that raised me , and to the Mordinsamman for protecting my soul that I am once again alive?!..
And Taron! to be honest. No! that didn't really answer my question. I understand you can use most weapons out there, the same with most persons that have spent time training in the martial ways. I know you know a little about forging weapons. but what about armour? are you good at moving unseen or unheard? can you tell a good mushroom from a bad one? can you cleave many foes with a single blow? can you see as I do? are you quick to react? can you enter a combat focused state of mind to help in your battles? are you deadlier with great-weapons? or can you grapple your foes without them getting the upper hand first?
These are the things I want to know..."

"Kal, me and Azral probably know your past and where you have come from better than most, and as you have asked us before we shall try to guide you in the light." "Azral asks what has changed probably in keeping with what you asked of him before!, he cannot guard you from what he doesnt know. Yes we have some secrets, but surely we have gained your trust by now in matters of importance"
Kat then walks over and helps Azral up before his beard catches fire again
