*Kat ponders thoughtfully for a moment*
"You are right we can only use our own judgement and wisdom to assess a situation and try to do what is right. I know you would have laid down your life trying to rid or capture her to save the world from any more harm, as would I. But I cannot help but see the value of your survival over hers, while she would continue to bring wanton destruction and pain you fight to preserve life wherever possible and to lend aid to those in need!
The choice you made helping Kal, I am thankful that you brought your strength to bear and lent her and the slaves your aid. But I do see the bigger picture you paint and the hard choices that came from it, it gives me much to think on. As for understanding it, that is FAR beyond me also my friend. One for the wisest of mortals and sages to try and understand, just maybe not Gi'antherlanix then *chuckles*.
As for my killer instinct*pauses*, life is a precious gift to be cherished and yet you are right, I am willing to take to life if it is needed. I feel the guilt of all those that have suffered at Icehearts wrath, I feel the loss of life that has been taken and that weighs heavily on my conscious. But taking her life, I will remember her but I do not feel guilt or sorrow at her leaving this mortal realm.
*Turns to Azral with a bit of a pout*
Thats a little harsh isn't it?"

*Looking lost*
"my friends I have absolutely no idea what to do about these 3 eggs, I am completely out of my depth here. Killing Iceheart was straight forward compared to this, she had commited various atrocities and was brought to judgment for her crimes. But these eggs have been taken and turned from their intended birth as proud metalics to what will eventually become enemies!
The library here is supposed to cover vast amounts of lore and history, but you can only enter once in your lifetime. I think if any key to saving them exists within our reach the answers are there, I plan on going into see what knowledge can be gained. Azral we also need to look for what to do about the bronze you are holding, if I knew when the egg would hatch we could maybe plan better but I don't have that answer.
I may be to young in your eyes Azral at times, but this is one of the few times I have felt to inexperienced, I truely feel lost"

"I am not comfortable with leaving the eggs to die, and nor do I think they should be intentionally destroyed. Firstly because no matter what they may become, they were and still are innocent of any crime and are defenseless.... and secondly because, as you have said they are marked as sacrificial, their demise may not need to be ritual in nature for the sacrifice to be completed.
I do not know what to advise you. It seems that these three eggs are doomed no matter what - either they will hatch and live as evil creatures, which is a cruel enough fate given that they were not laid that way; or they will hatch and be raised by an adoptive parent who fears their nature and, excuse the pun, treads on eggshells around them to avoid triggering some curse or sacrificial pact; or they will fade and die before they even truly live if they are not cared for; or they will be killed, by whatever means, and possibly find no rest in any kind of afterlife if their souls are claimed by this ancient evil.
I surmise that the only true path is to research some way of cleansing this taint from them so that they may live normally, or if that is not possible, blocking the sacrificial element of the curse so that they may die in peace and not fulfill this profane destiny that has been forced upon them.
I have no real interest in books, so I shall willingly use my one entry to this library to attempt to find some answers for you if you wish, Katalina, to save your own entry for some other personal reason you may have. Perhaps some kindly scholar who has chosen to live out his days inside will agree to aid me."

"Ayi, the library may hold the knowledge you seek! I would suggest taking Amcimir up on a previous offer though.. The Platinum tower where metallics went during The Rage, maybe even the knowledge of a Cleric of Bahamut! we know that there are boxes that can keep the eggs safe for a time, as I'm carrying one.. Why not see if we can find 3 more or something similar to carry the other eggs"

"It is also possible that the dragon who laid the egg you are carrying is alive and well and looking for her stolen offspring. After all, Alacus had to have acquired it quite recently, I doubt that box would put it into some kind of stasis that keeps it alive but unhatched indefinitely. Amcimir may be able to tell us about any local or at least not-too-distant females of the correct colour and of laying age, to narrow down a search?"

"Thank you Mason, I make take you up on that offer to enter the library. I would rather they be returned to their true state than destroyed, but if this cannot be undone....
Azral, Amcimir did make that offer indeed, but it would not be for some time and as for the Cleric I know what you suggest"

"Well what ever you decide to do I wouldn't spend to long deciding on it.. I very much intend to be back on the prime material plane shorty, and those 3 other eggs won't last long on there own while things heat up around here"

"if we need to leave them here for a time they should be ok for now. I have placed them in the best possible place I could find that should keep them cool. Returning to the prime will be a nice change of scenery"

*After returning from scouting around this camp none of us remember getting to Ixen sits by the flames of the fires keeping an eye on the surrounding forests, the look of sadness still haunting her eyes*
"My instincts were right we had company in the forest, I have a little information about them but not much! First however I have a question, does anybody know a way of telling if we did indeed leave the Fey realm? Part of my cannot shake the feeling that we never made it through and this is somehow tied with them!"

"Orin's magics were more powerful in the Fey realms, that would be one way of testing. I'd have liked to think that the Fey, at least those of the realms of Autumn, would no longer seek to trick or test us in this way, though."

"Not any more, no. My husband returned to his homeland. Still, perhaps one day he will decide to travel again."

I too am interested to hear about your husband. Was he skinchanger too? If you can change to man or woman when you like, how do you know who the real man or woman is or do you take turns to mount each other? I like your picture, Katalina, but she looks sad... And weak. No wonder they all died.
